![]() ![]() Why? Because renown increases your army size (I think it was 1 more man per 10 renown or something), and is one of the only three ways to do so, other than Leadership and charisma. Not sure if there are others, but generally more renown is better. ![]() For example, you need 100 renown (150 for a woman) to become a vassal. Old-fashioned renown allows you to get over limits that you wouldn't have been able to with low renown. Every time you gain 'x' renown, your prestige will also increase by 'x', but when you use up prestige, your renown won't decrease. It's the same value as your renown, but every time you upgrade a knighthood order (which costs some gold and prestige), that amount of prestige will be deducted from your prestige pool. #Mount and blade wiki honor modPrestige? I'm guessing you might be playing PoP, as it is the only mod I have seen so far that uses that exact terminology. ![]()
